Announcing a Group Coaching Series for Career Transitions
🌱 Career “Compost”: Group coaching for nervous-systems in job transition
Composting is a rich example of a regenerative process- a process in which old material can lead to something new. Exploring the metaphor of compost, we might reflect on how burnout, confusion, and past experiences can all become material for discovering or growing something new with our life’s work.
This 6-session career coaching series, held on Zoom on Fridays from 9-10:30 PST April 24th-May 29th, is for people navigating burnout, job changes, or career uncertainty.
🌿 A Different Approach
This series will provide a neuroaffirming, body-centered, and supportive space to:
- Be with what’s really true for you
- Open more to the organic, emergent creative parts of career discovery
- Identify and take meaningful steps
🌼 What You’ll Experience
Each 90-minute session includes a gentle rhythm of:
Play → Reflection → Connection → Forward Movement
This might look like:
- Journaling and visual exercises
- Somatic (mindful, body-based) check-ins
- Metaphor and generative imagery
- Small group or partner explorations
- Facilitated discussion
🌸 What You’ll Walk Away With
By the end of our time together, you can expect:
🌱 A deeper understanding of your energy, needs, and limits
🌱 New, creative ways of thinking about work and career paths
🌱 Explore both internal and external factors and challenges on your career path
🌱 At least one meaningful step forward that feels aligned and doable

🌷 Is This For You?
This space may be a good fit if:
- You identify as neurodivergent (self-identification welcome)
- You’re in a period of career transition, burnout, or questioning
- You’re looking for support that honors where you are and your whole self
- You’re open to creative, reflective ways of exploring
The Career Compost concept was inspired by the work of the Anapamu Alliance, a collaborative effort led by Carmen Sandoval and Amber B. Pagaling, whose lineages are rooted in the Santa Ynez Band of Sá‘‹amala Chumash Indians, who are working to establish an indigenous community space for lineal descendants in the Santa Ynez region of California.
